This holiday event spans the entire 65-acre estate with 3 million lights and 1,100 props displayed throughout 16 Christmas scenes. So you’re truly walking through Alabama’s winter wonderland.

The Bellingrath Gardens’ House’s interior is decorated as well will traditional holiday decor and an army of poinsettias. Be sure to catch a tour of the house; tours run every hour and a half until 8:30 pm. 

• Parking is free. Tickets can be purchased online.
• The Magnolia Cafe serves hot evening meals from 4pm to 8pm and a gift shop is open until 9pm.
• Magic Christmas in Lights runs from November 26 to January 5 and is open from 5-9pm nightly. Santa will be there every night through December 23. Closed Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Tip: While waiting for your turn for a house tour, purchase a cup of hot cocoa and listen to the nighty choir performance on the south side of the house.
